National Military Family Association (NMFA)


The National Military Family Association (NMFA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for military families across all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. 

Advocate for military families
• Work with Congress and federal agencies to improve policies affecting military life.
• Champion issues like spouse employment, children's education, healthcare, and housing.
Empower military spouses and children
• Offer scholarships and career support for spouses.
• Provide childcare fee relief to ease financial burdens.
Strengthen families through programs
• Run Operation Purple® Camps for military kids to build resilience and community.
• Host Family Retreats and Healing Adventures for families dealing with deployment or injury.
Conduct research and raise awareness
• Survey military teens and families to understand their challenges.
• Share insights to inform national conversations and policy decisions.
